Lucy Stamell Dobrin is a Managing Director at Providence Equity Partners, where she makes sector-focused investments in media, telecom and technology markets. She is based in New York.
For nearly 15 years, Lucy has worked closely with portfolio companies on identifying new growth areas and ways to benefit from emerging sector themes. She enjoys partnering with and guiding management teams to develop and execute business strategies, implement capital structures, institutionalize operations and recruit talented executives and high-impact board members.
While at Providence, Lucy has been an integral member of the deal teams for several active investments including DoubleVerify, Smartly.io and OUTFRONT and exits from Learfield, OEConnection and EdgeConneX. She is also currently a director of DoubleVerify, which had a successful public listing in 2021, and Smartly.io.
Lucy is a member of the Providence Women’s Roundtable and the firm’s D&I committee and was previously founding co-chair of the D&I committee. Lucy holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
