Sofian Lignier

Sofian Lignier is a managing director on the investment team based in our London office. He is a member of the firm's D&I committee. Mr. Lignier is currently a director of A2MAC1 and Globeducate. He was previously a director of Galileo Global Education and an observer to the board of TES. Prior to joining Providence in 2016, Mr. Lignier was an associate at Bregal Capital, a middle-market European private equity firm, where he worked on investments across the education and industrials sectors. Previous to that, he was an associate at Credit Suisse in their investment banking department, primarily based in Dubai, where he covered regional telcos. Mr. Lignier holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from Mines ParisTech.
